Queenstown Skydive Questions And Answers
Straight answers about how this comparison site works and what the three skydives cover, drawn from the operators' pages.
Booking And Payment
How Do I Book One Of The Skydives?
Every card has a Check availability button. It opens the booking page, where dates, weights and payment are handled. Nothing is booked on this site.
Can This Site Change My Booking?
No. There is no booking system here and no access to any operator's calendar. Changes, cancellations and refunds go through the booking page that sent your confirmation.
Does This Site Run Any Of The Skydives?
No. The jumps are flown by NZONE Skydive from Drift Bay and by Skydive Wanaka from Wanaka Airport. This site only compares the tour pages.
Which Booking Platforms Are These Skydives Sold On?
Three listings, each on a third-party booking platform. The card links straight to the relevant page so you always see the live price and dates.
Prices And Cancellation
What Do The From-Prices Mean?
Each is the 9,000 ft entry price in USD at booking: NZONE Skydive from USD 215.27, 3-Hour Wanaka Skydive from USD 210.16, and Wanaka Skydive, Transfers Included from USD 221.25.
Do Prices Change?
Yes. Platforms and operators adjust prices, and the 12,000 and 15,000 ft options cost more than the 9,000 ft entry. The booking page is the authority on the current figure.
Is There Free Cancellation?
All three tours come with free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. After that, terms sit with the platform and the operator.
Are Photos And Video Included?
None of the tours include them. Photo and video are paid add-ons bought at check-in with the operator.
Choosing A Skydive
How Many Skydives Are Listed?
Three: NZONE Skydive from the Queenstown drop zone, and two Skydive Wanaka listings, one meeting at Wanaka Airport and one adding a return transfer from Queenstown.
Which Drop Zones Are Used?
NZONE jumps at Drift Bay on Lake Wakatipu, reached by a coach from 35 Shotover Street in Queenstown. Skydive Wanaka jumps at Wanaka Airport and lands at a private farm nearby.
What Is An Altitude Option?
Each listing lets you jump from 9,000, 12,000 or 15,000 feet. The operators quote freefall of up to 25 seconds, up to 45 seconds or up to 60 seconds respectively.
What Happens In Bad Weather?
Weather decides. Both operators rebook first and refund in full only if no other date works.
What Are The Weight Rules?
Minimum weight differs: NZONE states 40 kg, Skydive Wanaka states 30 kg. Over 95 kg means a Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.
